Biorevitalization of facial skin is one of the fundamental procedures in cosmetology. The essence of the method involves the introduction of hyaluronic acid-based preparations into the skin.
Hyaluronic acid activates the skin’s framework, suppresses the activity of macrophages and fibroblasts, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and enhances cellular migration and proliferation. Additionally, after the procedure, the production of natural hyaluronic acid is triggered. Collagen types III and VII are actively produced in the tissues, and the balance between fluids and solid structures is restored.
Facial skin biorevitalization significantly improves skin condition, moisturizes it, and provides a visual rejuvenating effect.
How is the Facial Biorevitalization Procedure Performed?
Facial biorevitalization is performed in several stages:
- Visual examination of the patient’s skin, medical history review, and medical record completion.
- Skin cleansing.
- Disinfection of the skin.
- Local anesthesia of the injection area (if necessary).
- Skin marking.
- Administration of the preparation using a disposable syringe.
- Post-procedure skin treatment with a soothing agent.
The clinical effect of the procedure lasts 3–6 months. Maintenance treatments are required thereafter. The exact number of procedures is determined by the doctor during the consultation.
What Effect Can Be Achieved with Biorevitalization?
The action of the revitalizing product begins immediately after injection. However, the effect increases over a couple of days when the swelling caused by the injections completely subsides. If there is no swelling or redness, changes can be seen within 12–24 hours. Over time, the skin condition continues to improve.
Effects of facial skin biorevitalization:
- Lifting: Biorevitalization of the skin boosts the tone of the dermis. The skin looks fresh and firm, with improved toning.
- Moisturization and improvement of skin color and texture: The hyaluronic acid molecules retain moisture, improving skin hydration. The skin becomes smooth, pleasant to the touch, and flaking or dryness disappears. Thanks to improved blood circulation, the skin acquires a uniform, radiant appearance.
- Slowing down the aging process: Scientific research shows that age-related changes are accelerated by free radicals — oxygen atoms that can damage cell walls. Hyaluronic acid molecules have antioxidant properties that neutralize free radicals.

Types of Products Used
Facial biorevitalization at our clinic is performed using products from the Restylane Vital and Juvederm Hydrate brands, which differ in molecular size, degree of purification, and concentration.
Restylane Vital – A biogel based on hyaluronic acid that deeply moisturizes the skin and effectively combats age-related changes: smoothing out expression lines and wrinkles, enhancing the definition of the facial contour and lip line.
We use different concentrations of this product:
- Restylane Vital with 2% hyaluronic acid concentration: Intensively nourishes, moisturizes, and smooths the skin, normalizes blood circulation and hyaluronic acid production. Biorevitalization with Restylane Vital is performed in the forehead, nasolabial triangle, chin, and cheekbones areas. The results last up to 9 months.
- Restylane Vital Light with 1.2% hyaluronic acid concentration: A milder product that gently impacts the dermis, subtly lifting and toning the skin. It is used for preventing the first signs of aging. Injection areas: neck, hands, décolletage. The biorevitalization effect lasts up to 10 months.
Juvederm Hydrate – Hyaluronic acid with a high molecular weight. This increases the process of its absorption and natural elimination from soft tissues. The filler is supplemented with mannitol, an antioxidant that helps remove toxins.
Juvederm Hydrate is injected into the mid layers of the skin, neck, décolletage, and the back of the hands.
