Facial contouring is performed using dermal fillers. This technique provides a rejuvenating effect and is absolutely safe. When carried out by a qualified specialist, the likelihood of side effects is minimal.
Injectable contouring involves a series of injections, with minimal preparation and rehabilitation time. If there are no contraindications, the procedure can be performed on the same day as the consultation.
The recovery period is brief, and the patient can immediately return to normal activities.
The effect of dermal filler injections is reversible, as the filler components are gradually absorbed by the body over time.

How Does Facial Contouring Work?
The doctor injects the product under the skin along the soft tissues. Thin needles are used for the injections, which do not tear the skin but gently move it aside, eliminating the risk of injury.
Filler injections cause minimal pain, and many fillers contain the local anesthetic lidocaine to reduce discomfort.
Contraindications for Facial Contouring:
- Blood coagulation disorders
- Severe fungal or bacterial skin conditions
- Diabetes
- Silicone implants under the skin
- Systemic internal organ diseases
- Weakened immune system
- Hypersensitivity to the filler components
- Pregnancy and lactation
How is the Procedure Performed?
- Cleansing the skin
- Treatment of the working areas with antiseptic
- Application of anesthetic (if necessary)
- Injection of the selected dosage under the skin at predetermined points using a fine needle

A special mention goes to the Sculptra filler:
Sculptra is a biostimulant that contains poly-L-lactic acid, which activates natural processes in the tissues and stimulates collagen production. As a result, skin firmness is restored, and lost volume is replenished in the treated areas.
Unlike hyaluronic acid, the poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) molecules in Sculptra not only fill wrinkles but also act in the deep layers of the skin, promoting the gradual restoration of lost collagen.
Through a series of treatments (usually about three sessions over a couple of months), volume and skin structure are restored. Results from the procedure are noticeable and improve over the next 6 months and can last for two years or longer.
Poly-L-lactic acid in Sculptra is of non-animal origin (laboratory-synthesized), does not cause allergies or rejection, and has a high level of biocompatibility.
